As such, it requires years of experience and expertise to carefully create jewelries from precious metals and stones, which is where we are at exceptionally talented and experts at. silver jewellery manufacturer. If you would like to know our manufacturing process, the same goes as following;
Step #1: Design
Every manufacturing process begins with a design. We work hard and incessantly to conceive unique and one-of-a-kind designs for each and every piece of jewelry we craft.
Step #2: Sourcing stones, silver and other materials
Once you have the design, the next step is to collect the needed materials for the processing of crafting. As such, we are extremely particular in collecting the raw materials from only the best, experienced and most established suppliers. This is one of the major reasons why we are easily one of the most-preferred handmade silver jewelry manufactures in Jaipur.
Step #3: Computer Aided Designing
CAD is used to help improve the productivity of the person designing the jewelry and the dimensional accuracy of the design being conceived. In this step, we transfer the design idea into a paper and then onto the computer with the help of a CAD software.
Step #4: Rapid Prototype
Once the design has been confirmed and uploaded to the computer, then we create the prototypes of each design using 3D Rapid Prototype system and the resin model is created. The resin model created will act as the first base upon which the further designing process will be carried out. silver jewellery manufacture
Step #5: Model Making
At this stage, we utilize the casting process and convert the resin model into a silver model. This silver model will be treated as the master specimen upon what all the remaining items of similar kind will be modeled at.
Step #6: Rubber Mold
One of the most integral part of the production process is mold making as it will help create a range of jewelry pieces having the same design. As the design stays embossed inside the mold, it is possible for us to create the replicas of the same as long as we want. There are different types of materials that can be used to crate molds such as silicone, natural rubber and metal.
Step #7: Waxing process
It is the process where wax pieces are produced from rubber molds manufactured out of the silver master. Once it is made, the rubber mold is stationed onto the commercial wax injector machine. In order to create befitting wax model for the purpose of casting, mould cavity is injected with molten wax at higher levels of pressure. silver jewellery manufacturer
Step #8: Casting
As the process is a very sensitive and exceptionally delicate, it requires the support of the most dedicated and skilled casters. During this process, the tree wax is immersed into a steel flask which is filled later on with a semi-liquid mixture of diverse chemical powders which will assume solid state in an hour. It will then be inserted into a furnace where the wax will be melted leaving the tree cavity. The next step will see the pouring of the molten metal into the flask. Once the flask is cold, it will be demolished to collect the casting for the jewelry.
Step #9: Grinding
This is the place where the little nub left by the tree is grinded and removed from the jewelry. The one polishing the same will rely on a range of tools to grind the jewelry carefully to give it a unique finish and feel.
Step #10: Filing and Assembly
Filing is the process where the any kind of excess solder or metal is removed from the jewelry. Tools such as burrs and files are used to remove the casting layer completely off the jewelry being made. Assembly is the process where two or more than two components of the same jewelry have been joined together using laser or solder techniques.
Step #11: Polishing
This process is used to provide impeccable finish, elegance and value to the jewelry being made. There are three different stages in this process–tumbling, pre polishing, and ultra-cleaning. As per the type and size of the jewelry being made, the techniques and tools used for the same will be different.
Step #12: Stone setting
As per the needs of the design, stones are set carefully onto the jewelry to make it look all the more stunning and elegant. There are different types of setting that we utilize during the manufacturing process and at times, we also use the combination of two or more setting types. There are diverse types of settings such as flush, pave, pressure, fishtail, invisible, miracle plate, bezel, bead, plate prong, prong and channel.
Step #13: Polishing
At this process, the jewelry is subjected to extensive polishing process and the intention of which is to offer maximum shine to the jewelry being made across its surface area. The person polishing the jewelry makes use of several tools and techniques to ensure the best polishing to the jewelry.
Step #14: Rhodium plating
One of the most common methods to offer impeccable reflective capability to the jewelry and protects the same from scratches, friction and abrasion. The rhodium plated jewelry will have better shining and appeal than a non-plated one.
